The support services ministry offers many opportunities for busy people who only have a small amount of time to serve the church. Some areas offer quarterly or monthly opportunities to serve on Sunday mornings or other prearranged dates.

 

Communion Preparation Team

Individuals serving on the communion preparation team are responsible for preparing for, setting up, and cleaning up of the communion trays. Any adult who is seeking a ministry requiring a small time commitment should contact the church office.

 

Greeters

Greeters are an integral part of every worship service and act as hosts/hostesses for God. Any adult can greet who has a smile and a spirit to welcome visitors and members gathering to praise God. A greeter volunteers to serve for a particular worship service for one or multiple weeks in a month.

 

Office Volunteers

Living Hope staff can always use extra hands to help assemble newsletters, assist with filing, data entry and bulk mailings. If free on Sunday mornings, help is needed in counting the Sunday offerings. There are numerous custodial duties that can use extra help. Contact the church at office@livinghopeblair.org.

 

Property Operations

Volunteers are always needed for assisting in the care of our facility. Activities include the annual all church cleaning days when people of all ages pitch in to spruce up the outside and inside of the church. Individuals also volunteer to help with landscaping, painting, doing electrical and other minor repairs as needed.

 

Sanctuary Beautification Team

This ministry is responsible for designing, setting up, and cleaning up of decorations used throughout the year, and general straightening of the pew Bibles and accessories. Anyone with good sense of decorating, a good team player, or just a desire to return order after weekly worship would be qualified for the team.
